I’m working on a little project related to The Body in the Garden, my historical mystery set in Regency London, with a talented artist-friend of mine (who was also one of my earliest beta readers!). To give her a little visual inspiration, I’ve been sending lots of drawings of Regency life and clothes.


I love the history of fashion, though I’m by no means an expert in it. You can tell a lot about an era’s values and social structures by looking at the clothes.

Plus, the eye candy is fun.
